Stacey is a litigator with over 18 years of cross-jurisdictional experience. She is admitted in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, the High Court of Australia, and the High Court of New Zealand.
Stacey has developed a broad legal portfolio, moving from commercial, insurance, and insolvency litigation into defamation law, judicial review, guardianship, corporate and estate disputes, privacy, and custody matters.
Stacey’s primary focus lies in human rights, administrative law, government inquiries, and public interest defamation. She regularly collaborates with leading counsel and academics on high profile administrative law matters across Australia and New Zealand, guiding clients through complex legal frameworks.
While living overseas, she worked as a freelance legal writer with Lexis Nexis, the College of Law, and multiple firms. Stacey actively engages in pro bono work with not-for-profit organisations. She is widely regarded for her principled advocacy and her determination to litigate matters that deliver meaningful outcomes for her clients.
